Thank you for using Envido (referred to herein as "We", "Our" or "Us"), a personal finance and budgeting application. These Terms of Use ("Agreement") set out the terms and conditions under which you may access and use www.envido.eu and its related functionality (collectively, the "Service"), whether you are a "Visitor" or a registered "User." The term "you" or "User" refers to both Visitors and Users. We recommend that you thoroughly review this Agreement, as it may be updated from time to time, before accessing or using the Service. You must not access or use the Service if you don't agree to all of its terms and provisions. The Service is provided, controlled, and operated by Codeware OÜ, registered in Tallinn, Estonia under registration number 16643846, with its registered address at Rõugu 2/2-12, Tallinn, Estonia, 13522.
The Service lets Users connect bank accounts, automatically import and categorize transactions, and build and track budgets on www.envido.eu. The Service is provided as an aid to help you organize and manage your finances. It is not intended to provide legal, tax, investment, or other professional advice, and any AI-generated insights or suggestions described in Section 5 are provided for informational purposes only.
Envido will not sell your personal or financial information to a third party without your express permission or as required by law, court order, or governmental order. For details on our data protection practices, including which service providers we use and where your data is hosted, please read our Privacy Policy, which is hereby incorporated into this Agreement.
Your account must be registered by a human; accounts created by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted. You must be 16 years of age or older to register for Envido. You may register with an email address and password, or by signing in with a supported third-party account (Google or Facebook) — doing so is subject to that provider's own terms in addition to this Agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, which, together with your email address, allows you to access the Service. By providing your email address, you agree to receive required notices electronically. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, notify us immediately at info[at]envido.eu.
To use certain features of the Service, you may connect one or more bank accounts through our regulated open-banking partner, GoCardless Ltd. By connecting an account, you authorize GoCardless to access your account information — including balances and transaction history — on a read-only basis, and to share that information with us. We do not access, see, or store your online banking username, password, or other login credentials at any point; those are entered directly with your bank or through GoCardless's own secure authorization flow. You may only connect accounts you are legally entitled to access. For security reasons, bank connections may periodically require re-authorization (typically every 90 days, depending on your bank).
The Service may offer optional AI-powered features, such as automatic transaction categorization and an AI financial coach. These features rely on third-party AI infrastructure (currently OpenRouter, which routes requests to an underlying model provider such as Anthropic or OpenAI, depending on the feature). Any categorization, insight, or suggestion produced by these features is informational only and does not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Where the Service asks you to confirm an AI-suggested action (such as applying a category), you remain responsible for reviewing it before it is applied. Availability of AI features may be subject to fair-use limits based on usage, as described on our Pricing page.
Your right to access and use the Service is personal to you and may not be transferred to any other person or entity. You must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about the accounts you connect, and keep your registration information up to date — the accuracy of the Service depends on it.
Your access to the Service may be interrupted from time to time for reasons including equipment malfunction, maintenance, or updates. We may offer "beta" or trial features on an "as-is" basis, which may contain errors; your use of such features is at your own risk.
You agree that we may use your feedback or suggestions to improve the Service, without any obligation to compensate you, and without disclosing your identity without your permission.
By submitting information or content through the Service, you license that content to us solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not use or disclose it for any other purpose. By submitting content, you represent that you are entitled to do so.
The contents of the Service, including its text, graphics, logos, and software, are protected under copyright, trademark, and other laws, and belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited right to view and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms. Any other reproduction or distribution of our content is prohibited without our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You agree not to:
Paid ("Pro") subscriptions are billed and processed by Stripe. Displayed prices include any applicable VAT where required. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Membership; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by you or us. You may terminate at any time by deleting your Account. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, upon notice to your registered email address, if you breach this Agreement or if termination is required by law.
ENVIDO SHALL IN NO EVENT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE TO YOU OR TO ANY THIRD PARTY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO WWW.ENVIDO.EU, YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, OR THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF ENVIDO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR MANDATORY CONSUMER-PROTECTION RIGHTS.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, nothing in this Agreement deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. Any dispute arising from this Agreement that cannot be resolved informally may be brought before the competent courts of Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory right you may have to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence as an EU consumer.
We may modify this Agreement from time to time. Changes will be posted on www.envido.eu, and this page will always show the date it was last revised. Continuing to use the Service after changes are posted means you accept them. All covenants, representations, and warranties made in this Agreement survive its termination. This Agreement represents the entire understanding between you and Envido regarding its subject matter and supersedes all previous agreements on that subject.
